SBSCH Super Clearing House Shut Down and replaced by ATO Portal

Changes to Superannuation Payments :– As of the 26th February 2018 the Small Business Super Clearing House has been shut down and has been relocated to the Tax and BAS Agent Portal..

If you lodged any of your clients super through the SBSCH Top Class Accounts will now need to complete this for you through the ATO portal.  All of your information has been transferred across and is ready for your next employer super contribution payment.

To access the new system:

  • if you are a small business with an ABN, you must obtain an authentication credential, either an AUSkey or Manage ABN Connections via myGov, to login to the Business Portal
  • if your tax professional uses the SBSCH on your behalf, they will continue to manage your super obligations on your behalf through their online channel
  • if you are a sole trader or individual employer, you will need to register via your myGov account and link to our online services.

You may need to check your Access Manager settings if you can’t view the SBSCH in online services.

If you don’t wish to use the SBSCH, contact your super fund to discuss your options.

Remember, registered tax agents and BAS agents can help you with tax advice – Phone Top Class Accounts on: 1300 233 100 for further advice.
